This company uses in-house staff to maintain accounting records in QuickBooks. Thanks to healthy growth, the company now runs a fortnightly payroll for more than 240 staff and raises around 700 invoices a month. To input this data on a transaction-by-transaction basis within QuickBooks would have been impossible, but with Fox’s help the problem was solved. Using a utility from Big Red Consulting, Fox set up routines to enable both the importing of timesheet data for the payroll and the invoices from the company’s in-house Access database into QuickBooks. The result is that what was potentially going to be a costly upgrade in accounting systems has become a routine exercise that takes less than 15 minutes per import to complete.
